Joe has been at Rushen Parish since 2011. Before that he was an assistant curate in the Parish of Ribbesford with Bewdley and Dowles. He studied Theology in Durham after a career working in Research of Radio communication systems in Malvern. Joe grew up in Pudsey in West Yorkshire. He enjoys walking, drawing and painting, and when time allows astronomy. Joe is passionate about the bible, teaching it and getting other people to get excited about it; and about working out what it means to be a missionary church. Joe has developed a number of software tools to assist ministers in their role (e.g. Thyme Tracker for Clergy)
Liz has been a curate in the Parish of Rushen since 2018. She trained at All Saints Centre for Mission and Ministry, which is overseen by the University of Durham, for four years both on and off the island. Liz grew up in India, as her father was a priest in the Church of South India. She returned to the UK after completing her A levels and trained as an Occupational Therapist, working in mental health. She moved to the Isle of Man in 1989, married husband Steve, who is Manx, and has three daughters. Her passion is to let everyone know that they are loved by God. Claire Jennings, Parish Administrator Claire started working for the Parish in November 2012. She studied for a BA honours degree in History at Sheffield University, and subsequently trained and worked as a PA before moving to the Fylde to work in IT. Claire likes literature, history, theatre and cinema.
