The Ladies Working Party is attached to St Mary’s Church and is held every Tuesday throughout the year, with the exception of special days and holidays.

It comprises a group of dedicated ladies, and is open to anyone else who’d like to come along and join in with the group’s activities.

The Ladies hold fundraisers throughout the year and support local charities such as Graih, the Women’s Refuge and the Hospice. Their fundraisers also support charities further away such as Friends of Chernobyl’s Children, the Ukrainian Appeal and Leprosy Mission.

Each year, they are involved in filling Christmas boxes to be sent abroad.
